Introduced a mechanism allowing Checkout merchants to enforce domain-level security and define a whitelist of authorised domains where their checkout can be accessed. If an intent request originates from a non-whitelisted domain, it is blocked, preventing unauthorised embedding and reducing fraud risks.
Impacted Functionality: Checkout
Implemented Guest Checkout support for EFTPOS, enabling merchants to process payments via EFTPOS when consumers don’t consent to card storage. This enhancement will empower merchants to optimise their payment processing strategies, leverage Least Cost Routing (LCR) capabilities, and reduce transaction fees, while respecting consumer preferences for data privacy.
Impacted Functionality: EFTPOS
Implemented logic to pass Settlement Date to EFTPOS in transaction requests (/payments, /refunds, /reversals, /accoutVerify
). This facilitates more efficient reconciliation, ensuring transactions are settled on the specified date.
Impacted Functionality: EFTPOS
Implemented Auto-Void functionality for EFTPOS, allowing merchants to configure automatic transaction voiding in case of technical issues during processing. This reduces the need for manual intervention and minimises the risk of discrepancies.
Impacted Functionality: EFTPOS
Implemented the Network Tokenisation conversion module to enable bulk conversion of merchants’ existing vault tokens to network tokens.
Impacted Functionality: Network Tokenisation
Implemented the Routing Rules analysis endpoint, allowing merchants to receive advice on the recommended gateway for payment processing based on their configured routing rules.
Impacted Functionality: Routing Rules
Introduced user friendly error messages on the Data Migration report to help merchants easily understand and resolve errors, including duplicate records and other issues.
Impacted Functionality: Data Migration
Introduced a notification system for merchants around Network Tokenisation functionality, covering TRID (Token Requestor ID) onboarding and Token Management processes.
Notifications in scope:
Extended existing Transaction Notifications to include Network Token-related fields.
Impacted Functionality: Network Tokenisation
→ Creating or updating Customer
based on the provided merchant customer reference from the input file
→ Extending MPGS Fetch report with customer details and additional fields
→ Making the vault_token_reference
field mapping optional
Impacted Functionality: Data Migration
